I am Jewish!
I am a Jew! Please give me my right of birth.
Well, okay I am not a Jew, and I am not sure if I can prove that, like David Beckham and Madeleine Albright did.
I really envy Beckham so much, not for his fit body, fame or good looks, and absolutely not for his wife Victoria, it is just that Beckham could at any point head to Israel for FREE, where he will be greeted at the airport with wide opened arms, and a "Welcome Home" greeting. He could then apply for an Israeli citizenship, where he would be issued a passport, given an envelope full of cash, and keys to a new subsidized home.
I mean, isn't this so cool? Imagine being greeted in a country where you haven't set a foot before, telling you "Welcome Back, welcome home?"
Well, every year, thousands of N. American Jews are exercising their right of birth. The government of Israel is welling to accommodate and support any person who proves to be a Jew. Israel has all the space, and natural resources for these people, as a Jew, this is your rightful land.
On the other hand, Israel can not let Palestinians back to their homes, because there is no enough space and natural resources , the place will be really overcrowded, that is what they claim. Well, Israel admittedly says it won't let them back because they will alter Israel's character as a Jewish state. Funny,I have no clue why the word "RACIST" is crossing my mind!
Anyways, it is really a shame that not all people know about this unjust right of birth thing! Well, many N. American Jews, when they go to occupied Palestine; they are shocked by the reality, they start to question things about the tiny Jewish state surrounded by all those crazy Arabs, and why don't Arabs (Palestinians) settle in any other Arab land?Arab lands are so big?! You know , you will blind in any Arab country, you have no unique identity and history . Though, still many of N.American Jews are dying to go and serve in the IDF, I remember my dorm mate after attending a party held by the Right of Return groups, saying that he's taking a semester off to join the IDF and protect Israel ,well he was confronted by other people, who were shocked and outraged, starting to question his allegiance .
One of the Right of Birth programs, is teaching N.Americans Jews Tableh, making Falafel ,tatreez, and other stuff, well this is the Jewish culture, and there is nothing such as a Palestinian culture.Like they don't have a cuisine, traditions, songs, etc…you see Palestinians are Arabs, and they should go back to Arabia, that is where they came from, Palestinians call themselves Arabs! And they have no history in this land, there was nothing called Palestine! It was empty when Jewish immigrants arrived in 1910! Well that is when I realized how it is politically- incorrect to call my self an Arab!
I'm not an Arab, I had my own language and culture, before Arabs occupied my land. Palestine and Jordan were not empty lands, I mean any moron could figure out by simply looking at Jerash or Petra that it was heavily populated with superbly civilized and cultured people.
I think those Non-Israeli Jews who are against Israel's injustice and racism have my outmost respect. Today many of the peace activists and those protesting against the IDF are of Jewish backgrounds or Israeli nationals. Many of them arrived to Palestine through the right of birth program to discover the hard truth. Also many non-Jewish Westerners are making a difference in the occupied territories by helping people there; they are working in all fields, education, athlete, environmental programs and much more.
The thing is that people won't realize the truth unless they see facts "on the ground".

i know, very sad, isnt it. imagine if the US did that and only allowed Europeans to immigrate to the US?

There is this program for jewish college students that will allow students to go to israel for free (everything paid for) for a few weeks as part of their college experience. i called the program and asked if i can go and they said of course not because i am not jewish.
Shameful.

You bring up a good point about N.American Jews - of course not all of them, but the many of them that have been endoctrined to believe that it is their inalienable right to go occupy land in Palestine by virtue of being Jewish. What other system in the modern world guarantees a person citizenship and space to inhabit based on their religion?

Any jew has every right to live in Israel (it hasnt been palestine for quite a few yrs, maybe u need to update your maps)...

Yeah then maybe you should ask yourself....why did they leave in the first place? What has provoked all this massive immigration? Leaving their homes with no luggage and no nothing! Which means they left it in a hurry, thinking that they'll be back into their homes for a while! Such people are usually called refugees...it happens all over the world.

Go there and try to be objective and see reality on the ground, maybe you could finally as an Australian know who the aggressor is and who is the victim!
